Why are you running for office? As a business owner and a resident in Logansport’s third ward, I am concerned with the economic growth of the city, downtown revitalization, the current LMU issues along with the ecology of the environment making up my ward. I feel the current administration of Logansport regards our community as a commodity, using the town to serve the needs of a select few within the administration and community. I, in turn, believe Logansport should be viewed as a community to which everyone belongs and benefits from being a member. I hope to bring about a change in prospective, one that encourages the love and respect for this community that I feel.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University
Master’s degree from Ball State (Dean’s Citation Award for Academic Excellence)

Occupation/Work Experience: Science Teacher Lewis Cass Jr/Sr High. Content focus - Biology & AP Environmental Science

Previous Political Experience: None

Family & other biographical information: Husband, Greg Densborn, Optometrist. Dr. Densborn has practiced Optometry downtown Logansport for the past twenty years.

Son, Zane Densborn, Graduated from Logansport High School and is a Freshman at IUPUI.

Daughter, Grace Densborn, Sophomore at Logansport High School

Other interests & experience: Indiana Master Naturalist. I enjoy habitat restoration/management. I am a member of the Dykeman Ladies Golf League. I enjoy running, biking, and coaching cross country.
