Education: I graduated from Logansport High School in 1967 and attended college at Ball State for 2 years.
Occupation/Work Experience: I worked at Matthew Warren for 42 years retiring in 2015. I served as union president for 12 years at Matthew Warren. I served 4 years in the US Air Force from 1969 to 1973.
Previous political experience: I have served 12 years on the city council in Logansport., eight years as a Democrat and the last 4 as an Independent.
Family & other biographical information: I am married to Debby Krantz. We have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Debby is a retired registered nurse who worked at Miller's Merry Manor and the Logansport State Hospital. I have a brother, John Hastings and a sister, Teresa Geisleman who lives in Kokomo, Indiana.
Other interests & experience: I have been an avid runner for 39 years, running many many marathons and numerous road races. I have served on many boards and committees over the years. I now serve on the senior citizen board of directors and am the redevelopment president.
